Are there any crucial differences among a sea drop and a tear?

Equally fresh, salty or humid, with similar chemical composition, while the first is only part of a giant wave’s movement, the latter is a multifoliate expression which is referring us an entire story – even a whole lifetime – with just a glimpse. Words, not the molecular components, are crossing here the ancient bridge of the metaphor, as Joseph Campbell – among others- stated, the main principle of all kind of human magic and creation. And talking about magic here is not because I am a sort of guru-apprentice or a shaman available to be bought in a one-euro bazaar, is because one of my personal goals is discovering the magic of people, nature and the entire life. Even though is well known that Art has always been the appropriate vessel to reach the shores of magic and creation, I also consider the Technology, its purposes distilled by creativity – and with the rowing of Knowledge – as an incredible boat to conquer new-world horizons. And I am also sure that is compulsory invite all the human kind to this adventure, because through the Technology is possible to modify their Life, enriching or impoverishing the circumstances of people’s lifecycle, and providing – or stealing – a happier experience of Life for everyone. We can be honorable agents of this change.

Maybe a big part of this speech sounds as a quite out-of-date poetical-naïve cliché… but we are living days when to change the world, by just clicking a key, is possible. So that, before changing anything, why not talking a little bit about the difference among a sea drop and a tear? My professional and personal efforts are focused in making answers real, and fortunately, my personal expertise in Cinematography, IT and Management, has became a singular starting point for all type of related projects. Per instance, the most recent ones in which I am working now, both from academic and day-by-day side:

– A social media platform driven to solve some thrilling challenges in Spain’s nowadays society: unemployment and education weaknessess.

– A Drone tech-based solution for domestic purposes

– The study of final consumer’s reactions, but from the point of view of the unconscious’s behavior. These “a priori” unconnected worlds have been part, in my opinion, of one of the more powerful industries in history – religion – that probably used their personal marketing, the mythology, to connect with the final-customers’ unconscious.

– As fan of History and Media Creation, I am interested in exploring the connections among symbolic representations, from old myths to cinema, and also, referring them with human’s dreams. There exist a lot of interesting approaches from the Psychology field research, but I strongly believe that we can do much more from the applied technology research.

Quoting Aristotle “Nature flies from the infinite, for the infinite is unending or imperfect, and Nature ever seeks amend”. I believe that we can be the shoemakers of this giant called Nature… Why not?
